Regierungspräsidium Stuttgart

The Regierungspräsidium Stuttgart (RPS) was the Lead Partner of the SAFER project.

The Regierungspräsidium is in between of the ministerial level and the communities. The field of activity of the Regierungspräsidium Stuttgart is in the northeastern part of Baden-Württemberg and includes the following areas: Mittleren Neckarraum, Tauber Valley, Hohenloher Ebene, Schwäbisch-Fränkische Wald and the Eastern Alb.

Within the Regierungspräsidium Stuttgart there are 11 departments concerning different subjects. The department 5 – Environment and therein the unit 53.2 – Water Body Category I, Flood Protection, Area North was responsible for the project SAFER.
