SAFER hosted several Conferences

During the project lifetime of SAFER the project hosted the final conference, a symposion in 2007 and a mid term conference in 2005.

Symposium on Flood Hazard Mapping in Mannheim 2007

The Symposium on Flood Hazard Maps in Mannheim on December 5 and 6 mostly focused on the achievements and experiences achieved in the German partner region. The two day event gave a broad overview of the working steps of hazard mapping.

Mid term Event in Heidelberg 2005

The international SAFER Symposium with the theme: "Increasing the Awareness of Flooding to improve the Risk Management of Flood Events" was held in Heidelberg on September 28th and 29th.
