SAFER at a glance

The SAFER Executive Summary gives a rough overview of the project and summarizes the experiences of the project. It also provides recommendations of the partner regions and lessons learnt. The document can be seen as abstract of the detailed Final Report. 

The Executive Summary describes the findings from the flood hazard mapping, explains the basics and advantages of flood partnerships and shows the benefits of flood management systems. Finally, there is an outlook to the shaping of a future flood protection in accordance with the European Rules.
