Results

This section sums up the main results of the SAFER project. The Executive Summary provides an overview of the diverse activities of the SAFER team. The Joint Report describes the SAFER philosophy, the joint results and the implementation of the project actions.Thereby high attention is spent on the project regions and the regional specifications.

Within the section Final Conference 2008 the partners present the activities and results in their project regions and discuss the perspectives of the flood prevention in the context of today's drivers. Another important aspect is the implementation of the EU Floods Directive within the coming years. The section Conferences and Newsletters demonstrate the development of the joint strategies and their implementation by the partners. Within the section Guidelines, Reports and Studies the most important milestones of the project are displayed.

The section SAFER short film and SAFER DVD explain the paradigm of a modern flood emergency management and highlight the importance of the SAFER project.
